SAK-3008 Solo exhibition practice - 30 stp

The course is reserved for students in the master’s program and cannot be taken as a single course.
Course contents
In the second semester, student further develop their art practice and carry out a solo exhibition.
Obligatory prerequisites
SAK-3007 Group exhibition practice
Objective of the course
After completing the course, the student has the following learning outcomes:
Knowledge
- Knowledge of the context and prerequisites of artistic practice
- A good knowledge of relevant art history, theory, and professional ethics
- Knowledge of the planning and completion of a solo exhibition
Skills
- Ability to plan and carry out a solo exhibition
- Ability to contextualize and reflect on different artistic practices in relation to one’s own work
General competence
- An understanding of the production and execution of a solo exhibition

Teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, workshops, studio visits, group critique, supervision and independent work in studio.
