The course is obligatory for the Bachelor in Northern Studies. Elective for Bachelor in Arctic Adventure Tourism and other programs. The subject can be taken as single course.

Course contents

The course has a goal-oriented perspective, but other perspectives will also be presented. We introduce some vital terms in the terminology of projects, which are related to some important stages in the life cycle of the project; the initiation, teambuilding, planning, organizing, controlling and learning. The role of the project manager will be seen in the light of being the main responsible person in a project.

Mainly teacher presentations, group work and group discussions. Class attendance is obligatory (at least 75%)

Before the end of every course, it will be arranged an evaluation of the course in collaboration with the teacher and the student
