Admission requirements
A relevant undergraduate Bachelor Engineering program with minimum 25 credits mathematics, 5 credits statistics, 7,5 credits physics
Knowledge about basic operations research technics, methods and models.

Objective of the course
Knowledge: Based on techniques given in Operations Research 1 and some extensions this course give the students knowledge in modelling and optimization of real-life deterministic or probabilistic systems.
Skills: The candidate will be able to perform modelling and optimization of real-life deterministic or probabilistic systems by formulating a model, decide solution techniques and then solve the model.
General (overall) Qualifications: Based on the practical experience of solving real-life problems the candidate shall be able to communicate, solve and improve related problems in future education and working life.

Examination and assessment
A project report accounting for 100% of the total grade in the course.
Grading will be done by A-F scale, where F is Fail.
A re-sit exam will be arranged for this course where a new project report has to be delivered within the given date.
Date for examination
The date for the exam can be changed. The final date will be announced at your faculty early in May and early in November.
