ELE-3602 Power System Operation and Control - 5 stp

Course contents


Admission requirements

A relevant undergraduate bachelor Engineering programme with minimum 30 credits mathematics/statistics topics

Suggested prerequisites: General knowledge of energy systems and stationary and dynamic properties of the power system. Basic skills in financial and technical-economic planning.

Teaching methods

40 case-based lectures and 40 hours exercise work.

Assessment

Mandatory tasks: Mandatory exercise.

Assessment: 3 hours written exam.

Grading scale is from A (highest) to F (lowest), with E as the minimum pass grade.

Re-sit exam: A re-sit exam will be arranged for this course. Subject to general rules.

The date for the exam can be changed. The final date will be announced at your faculty early in May and early in November.
