SOK-2050 Dissertation in Economics - 10 stp

Type of course

The course can be taken as a singular course. To register for the course, students must have completed at least 60 ECTS credits in Economics.

Course contents

The course is individually designed. The student will propose a topic and relevant literature. The proposal is discussed and approved by a supervisor who will provide advice on the work with the thesis throughout the semester.

Application deadline

Applicants from Nordic countries:

1st of June for the autumn semester and 1st December for the spring semester

Applicants from outside the Nordic countries:

1st of October for the spring semester and 15th of April for the autumn semester.


Admission requirements

Nordic applicants: Generell studiekompetanse

International applicants: Higher Education Entrance Qualification and certified language requirements in English.

Term paper (100%) The termpaper has to be written in english. There will be no re-sit exam arranged for this course. A graded scale of five marks from A to E for pass and F for fail
