Hva lærer du
Etter gjennomført emne skal studenten være i stand til å:
- Forklare individers tenkning og atferd som et resultat av sosiale faktorer, slik som gruppetilhørighet og sosiale normer.
- Forklare rollene av bevisste og ubevisste tankeprosesser i sosial persepsjon og atferd.
- Forklare hvordan ulike metoder som for eksempel overtalende kommunikasjon kan brukes for å forandre individers og gruppers tenkning og atferd.
- Vurdere og velge ut hensiktsmessige metoder/verktøy til forebygging og intervensjon på gruppenivå.
- Utvikle enkle samfunnspsykologiske intervensjoner og kampanjer, helt fra problembeskrivelsen til den påfølgende evaluering av kampanjens effektivitet.
Undervisnings- og eksamensspråk
Undervisning
24 timer forelesninger. Forelesningene omhandler teoretiske og metodiske prinsipper i sosial- og samfunnspsykologi. Disse vil bli forklart på grunnlag av publisert forskning. Gjennom korte øvelser i klasserommet praktiserer studentene å anvende de samme prinsippene til aktuelle samfunnsspørsmål og problemer.
All undervisning er relevant for studentenes utvikling som kyndige yrkesutøvere. Dermed oppfordres studentene til å delta aktivt i all undervisning som tilbys.

Eksamensdato er foreløpig og vil kunne bli endret. Endelig eksamensdato kunngjøres ved oppslag på det enkelte fakultet primo mai for vårsemesteret og primo november for høstsemesteret.
