The course is also available for other biology students and exchange students at a biology study program. Available as singular course.
Course overlap
BIO-3007 Ecotoxicology: A practical introduction to environmental monitoring tools 4 stp
Course contents
This course aims to give students practical training in experimental design, sampling procedures and chemical and biological analyses. Finally, students will learn to write a scientific report and discuss results in light of literature.Students will perform an ecotoxicity experiment (study species and experiment to be defined later) at the biological station of Kårvika. Analyses of relevant biomarkers will be performed at UiT.
