BIO-8101 Functional genomics - 5 stp

Course contents
Practical examples will be taken from plant genomics, but the course is suitable for biologists in all fields. Topics of genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics will be covered. The course will concentrate on data mining and the use of bioinformatics for the analysis of genes and proteins.
Students will work web-based for the course to perform computer based tasks and prepare a seminar talk on one of the subjects.

Course teaching is conditional to a minimum of 4 and maximum of 10 students.
