The goal is to introduce the students with theoretical and practical knowledge about cultural issues in the Barents Region

Content:
Barents dialogue and Cross- Cultural Communication

Cross Border Relations in the Barents Region

Indigenous Peoples in the Barents Region

Business Cooperation in the Barents Region: The Cultural Dimension


Application deadline

Applicants from Nordic countries: 1 June for the autumn semester and 1 December for the spring semester. Applicants from outside the Nordic countries: 1 October for the spring semester and 15 April for the autumn semester.

Admission requirements

Admission requirements:
Nordic applicants: Generell studiekompetanse.

International applicants: Higher Education Entrance Qualification and certified language requirements in English.

The course will be taught online by the use of the virtual classroom programme Fronter.

Assessment

Map evaluation; including several semester based tasks and one final exam. 

A-F. A is the best mark; E is lowest mark for a pass. F is fail.

A re-sit exam will be arranged for this course
