STE6249-001 Virtual Reality, Graphics and Animation - theory - 5 ECTS
Course content
Basic visualization techniques, OpenGL, display hierarchy, camera and light, collision control, constraints, particles, mirroring textures and more. Shader programming, active objects, virtual environments, virtual control panels and other interface techniques, animation techniques and interactive simulations.Objectives of the course

On completion of the course the successful student is expected to have the following:
Knowledge
Be able to describe in words, the central terminology, definitions, standards, methods and trends within the areas that are included in this course (K3).
Skills
Be able to use the knowledge to analyse and plan how to solve concrete examples (S1).
General competence
Know that basic visualisation techniques can be used in computer graphics, VR and animations / simulations (GC2).
