Den tradisjonelle sensommerfesten ved UiT – Senter for kvinne- og kjønnsforskning (SKK) setter studenter og studentarbeider i fokus. Hvert år deles det ut masterstipend til studenter som ønsker å gjør en oppgave med kjønnsrelevante problemstillinger innenfor sitt respektive fagfelt, og Åse Hiorth Lervik's pris til beste avlagt masteroppgave med kjønnsrelatert tema eller kjønnsteoretisk perspektiv ved UiT Norges arktiske universitet det foregående år.

The traditional late summer party at UiT – Centre for Women's and Gender Research (SKK) puts students and student work in focus. Each year, master's scholarships are awarded to students who wish to work upon a thesis with gender-relevant issues within their respective fields of study. SKK also awards the Åse Hiorth Lervik's prizes for best master's thesis with a gender-related topic and gender theoretical perspective at UiT The Arctic University of Norway for the previous year.

KJERSTI FJØRTOFT is professor in Philosophy at the Department in Philosophy, UiT The Arctic University of Norway. Fjørtoft works within the fields of political philosophy, feminist philosophy and ethics. She teaches philosophy for both undergraduate and graduate students. Fjørtoft has worked with research ethics and data protection in several committees appointed by the government. She is currently head of the ethical council for the defense sector in Norway. In 2021, she received the UiT's gender equality award for research on structural injustice and for practical efforts to achieve gender balance in academia.
KAROLINE STENSLAND is an artist and performing artist from Tromsø. She studies at the Music Conservatory in Tromsø and also works as a singing teacher alongside her studies. Karoline is on the national team in performing arts and has a silver medal from the 2020 Digital World Championships. She is also on the show "Worth more" about mental health, which she and Hedda Fossland write and premiere January 2022.
