Kjønn in Norwegian can mean sex or gender in English. In the English language, these terms mean very different things: sex refers to biological differences and gender refers to socially constructed differences. Though we may not always be aware of it, gender is an important part of our daily lives and is also then present in our studies and research throughout academia. Join UiT staff, faculty, students and community members for an eventful week highlighting the importance of gender topics on campus and beyond.
