Jubileumsseminar for Tone Skinningsrud: "Comparative Perspectives in Education"

We hereby invite to an open seminar in celebration of professor emerita Tone Skinningsrud, Department of Education.

The aim of the seminar is to highlight comparative perspectives in education research and development, which has been one of Skinningsrud’s main research interests throughout her career. Such perspectives provide insights through comparing policies and processes across national settings. A number of invited guest speakers will in different ways address questions highly relevant for all levels of the educational system, from kindergarten to higher education. Among other things, the importance of comparative perspectives in analyzing and performing teaching in multicultural settings will be addressed.
