Invitation to our foreign employees in Tromsø: 17th of May breakfast

17th of May is the Norwegian Constitution Day, and this is an official national holiday that is celebrated in a grand way! Traditionally we start the day having breakfast with our families and friends, then we participate or watch the children in their parade in the city centre or in the neighborhoods.

Time: 08:30 - 10.30 (please make sure to arrive no later than 08:45)

Where: Scandic Ishavhotell  

Menu: Breakfast buffet

Dress code: Smart/formal. Norwegians will dress in national costumes/dresses/suits. If you have a national costume from Your home country, please feel free to wear this.

After breakfast, we suggest that you go to see the children's parade that will pass through the city centre. The parade starts from Kongsbakken High School at 11:00.

Please register for this event no later than May 12th by sending an e-mail to torill.nustad@uit.no  with information about how many you are, and if you have children, I need their ages.
