Operational Security in Digital Networks (lecture and practical seminar)

Ever thought about how to protect your documents or sources in case your computer or phone are stolen or confiscated, in case your Facebook, Twitter or email accounts are hacked, in case your encryption tools have been compromised?

Operational security in digital environments is not only something professional journalists need to know about. Also students and academic staff need to know how to protect their documents and sources in daily research practices.

The seminar consists of two hours lecture on Monday February 20 and four hours practical seminar on Tuesday February 21. During the seminar participants will receive support in installing and using selected programmes and applications.
