New frontiers of theoretical chemistry

This is the second NT-lunchseminar in a serie of three popular science seminars this autumn. This second talk is presented by professor Kenneth Ruud. He is prorector of research and development at UiT and the former director of the Norwegian Centre of Excellence, CTCC - The Centre for Theoretical and Computational Chemistry.

"New frontiers of theoretical chemistry", by Kenneth Ruud, CTCC.

The topic of this years "Forskningsdager/Science days" is  "Borders". Kenneth Ruud will in this lunch seminar give some examples of how the research at CTCC has crossed scientific domains and expanded scientific borders. By using mathematical and computational methods, they have gained new insight into a wide range of topics spanning from white dwarfs (special stars) to enzymatic reactions.

There will be served a "lunch-to-go" and we therefore need you to sign up for the event. Lunch is served 11.15 and the talk stats at 11.30. The seminar is open for everybody, welcome!
