Got data? Learn how to use UiT Open Research Data!

Make your research transparent and reproducible by publishing your data in the institutional repository UiT Open Research Data.

Research data is an essential part of most research projects. Being of high value to you and other researchers, now and in the future, it should be properly organized and safely archived. Further, both scientific journals and funding agencies have started to require that the data the research is based upon is properly managed and made openly available. In this course you will learn how to structure, document, and preserve your data during your project, and how to archive and share it at UiT Open Research Data, https://opendata.uit.no/.

The course will be taught in English. The course will be held in English and Norwegian several times this fall, see the full list of courses on research data.

UiT Open Research Data is part of a global open data network, with metadata templates based on international standards. The service ensures web visibility and facilitates citation by assigning all datasets a complete reference containing a persistent identifier (doi).
