ScienceFUTURE is a prototype for a new type of outreach and media production targeted at audiences within specific communities as well as the broader public.
The prototype is produced by Ice-9, a new Tromsø-based media company, which is developing new digital tools and an online platform to help stimulate dialogue on important public issues, starting with energy production and the Arctic.
At the moment we need the cooperation of scientists starting this spring, to test out the app/software (Xquisite) we are developing and contribute with a story element about the future life of this woman X. This should take no more than 10 minutes. We also hope a few researchers (at any level, including Masters students) can engage online or live with kids and artists. We are also looking for institutional partners interested in developing the prototype further through joint funding applications.
