Brown Bag Seminar: The role of planktonic foraminifera in the marine carbon cycle at high latitudes

MARINE ECOLOGY: Single celled organisms,  planktonic foraminifera, contribute to the marine biological pump by generating organic and inorganic carbon fluxes.

We are pleased to invite you to a seminar by Julie Meilland,  University of Nantes Laboratoire de Planetologie et Geodynamique. She will give a talk entitled: The role of Planktonic Foraminifera in the Marine Carbon Cycle at high latitudes (Southern Indian Ocean).

Julie Meilland has her PhD from University of Angers (France) where she specialized in Arctic and Antarctic marine ecology.

See attached flyer for more information.
