This WONA seminar was arranged as a reading group seminar by WONA members Åsa Stjerna og Stephanie von Spreter.
In the seminar the group discussed two introductory texts on feminist posthumanities and new materialisms:
Åsberg, Cecilia, and Rosi Braidotti. 2018. "Feminist Posthumanities: An Introduction." In A Feminist Companion to the Posthumanities, edited by Cecilia Åsberg and Rosi Braidotti, 1-22. Cham: Springer International Publishing.
Coole, Diana H., and Samantha Frost. 2010. "Introducing the New Materialisms." In New Materialisms: Ontology, Agency, and Politics, edited by Diana H. Coole and Samantha Frost, 1-43. Durham & London: Duke University Press.
The texts were discussed in relation to possible theoretical approaches for each individual’s research practice, also methodologically. In addition, the texts acted as starting points for further readings/seminars on feminist posthumanities/new materialisms.
