Interactive Video -Exploration of new digital learning arenas through interdisciplinary collaboration

The purpose of the Interactive Video project (2018-2022) was to enhance student learning about interprofessional collaboration and strengthen digital competence by developing digital learning resources and pedagogical approach. The project group consisted of two occupational therapy students and three educators from the bachelor’s programs in Occupational Therapy and Decentralized Nursing, as well as the Centre for Faculty Development (HelPed). The group of students and educators explored the use of H5P, a digital tool for creating, sharing, and reusing interactive video and interactive learning content  (https://h5p.org).

The project group developed a range of podcasts and videos from the field of practice on the topics of people with dementia living at home and the use of welfare technology, as well as a digital learning module with the use of H5P. The experiences from the Interactive Video project are systematically documented for further publication. The learning resources developed are today in use in teaching in both study programs of Occupational Therapy- and Decentralized nursing.
