The Norwegian Research Council Project "Arctic Silk Road" explores the everyday anticipation of large-scale infrastructural development linked to an Arctic shipping route, Asian markets, and climate change. Enacting "ethnographic action" from Sápmi to China, it anticipates the envisioned disruptions and opportunities of an "Arctic Silk Road" through collaborations with artisans and other community actors.
