Previous research shows that adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) can increase the risk of physical and mental health problems later in life. We want to expand our knowledge of these associations. In the third wave of the population-based Fit Futures survey, a list of ACEs was included. We want to use the data from this survey to learn about the occurrence of ACEs in young adults in Northern Norway and how ACEs are related to health problems in this group.
