Our research group focuses on a combination of translational science and clinical research in disease related malnutrition, cancer cachexia, and critical illness, as well as cardiovascular risk prevention with focus on lipid metabolism and atherosclerosis, cardiometabolic conditions, inflammatory rheumatic diseases with focus on ankylosing spondylitis, and the impact of diet on the gut microbiota.
The research group is composed of several associate professors, PhD students and senior lectures as well as master students.
