Mittweida University of Applied Sciences, en av våre partnere i Tyskland, inviterer til International Week i perioden 18.-22.november 2019. Tema for uka er " Encouraging International Student Mobility".
Dear colleague,
Following the success of our first international week last year, Mittweida University of Applied Sciences is delighted to announce that it will be hosting its second international week this year. The programme is scheduled from Monday 18th November to Friday 22nd November. A preliminary programme and an application form are attached to this email.
Join us to explore the topic “Encouraging International Student Mobility” in workshops, presentations and panel discussions. Together we want to reflect on the current state of student mobility within Europe and beyond. Let’s find out how the participating institutions encourage their students to go abroad and discuss possibilities to increase mobility further. There will be presentations on the topic by Mittweida University and the partner institutions.
These are some of the programme highlights that will await you during the week:
- International University Fair – Promote your university and programmes to Mittweida students planning a stay abroad
- Tailored delegate sessions at the schools and departments of your specialism
- Tours of Mittweida campus and the surrounding area
- Join us on a day trip to the historic city of Dresden
Further, the International Week will coincide with the Mittweida Media Forum, Europe’s only media congress that is solely organized by students. The Forum will revolve around the theme Diversity, and there will be a dedicated international session for participants of the International Week. If you would like to get an idea of the last Media Forum, you may want to watch this video.
Participants will be asked to finance their own travel, accommodation and expenses through the Erasmus programme. We have reserved a number of hotel rooms for participants at the hotel Deutsches Haus in Mittweida. There are no participation fees for the International Week.
