Reactivate matlab license

IMPORTANT message to users that have installed MATLAB on laptops and private computers  – you need to reactivate your MATLAB license!

The current license are valid until late April. Sixty days prior to the license expiring, users receive warnings about their license expiring when they use MATLAB. If the license expires, users cannot continue to use MATLAB.

To reactivate your copy of MATLAB:

1.            Start MATLAB

2.            In the Home tab, in the Resources section, select Help > Licensing > Activate Software.

3.            Choose «Activate automatically using the Internet» and follow the instructions.

Use your previously created Mathworks account to reactivate the license. Information regarding how to install Matlab and retrieving the “Activation key” is found at the UiT helpdesk self-service site: https://uit.no/orakel  (under “Support documents listed alphabetically” and then “MatLab”).
