Admission requirements

PhD students or holders of a Norwegian master's degree of five years or 3+2 years (or equivalent) may be admitted. Valid documentation is a statement from your institution that you are a registered PhD student, or a Master's Diploma with Diploma supplement/English translation of the Diploma. PhD students are exempt from semester fee.

Course content

Work involves the writing of a scientific 'review article'. Students can choose to write an article covering one of many topics, including respiration and circulation, reproduction, nutrition and digestion, osmo-/ionoregulation, thermal physiology or endocrinology.

Teaching methods

Litterature study. Some help with literature sources, and guidance in scientific writing will be given.

Assessment

Evaluation of the 'term paper', written as a scientific review article. A graded scale of five marks from A to E for pass and F for fail.
