Environmental Standards for Deep Seabed Mining

On 8-9 May 2015 a workshop entitled “Environmental Standards for Deep Seabed Mining” was held in Tromsø by the K.G. Jebsen Center for the Law of the Sea. The background of the workshop were the growing possibilities for the exploitation of mineral resources of the deep seabed. Professor Nele Matz-Lück and Dr Ingvild Jakobsen have now published online articles and foreword in the journal 'Marine Policy', which soon will be published in print, http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0308597X1630183X.
