Stillingsbeskrivelse

Instituttleder har den daglig ledelse av den samlede faglige og administrative virksomheten ved instituttet. 

Instituttleder har ansvar for at de administrative og forvaltningsmessige oppgavene utføres effektivt og i overensstemmelse med gjeldende lover, forskrifter og regler, samt innenfor økonomiske rammer fastsatt av overordnet myndighet, universitetsstyret og fakultetsstyret.

Instituttleder er ansvarlig for at instituttet administreres i samsvar med de lover, forskrifter, reglement, avtaler og retningslinjer som gjelder for statsforvaltningen generelt og for universitetet, fakultetet og instituttet spesielt.

Instituttleder har ansvar for at disponering av instituttet skjer i samsvar med gjeldende regelverk og vedtak i universitetets styre.

Instituttleder har ansvar for at mål- og resultatkrav i henhold til universitetets strategiske plan og styrets årsplaner blir fulgt opp ved instituttet og at planverk utarbeides i tråd med til enhver tid gjeldende retningslinjer. 

Instituttleder er ansvarlig for å iverksette vedtak som blir gjort av overordnet myndighet, universitetsstyret og fakultetsstyret.
