The Guide in the Theatre of Nature Based Tourism

Is the guide the protagonist or simply a supporting character in the theatre of nature based tourism?

Research and practice tells us that these relations can be staged in both these ways. Still, we also know that to highlight the role of the guide, can be a good strategy for any tourism product developer. There are many arguments to support this. The speakers in the seminar will provide insight into the role of the guide in nature based tourism from different angles.

• The wide way or the high way. Constructing nature in guiding, Thomas Vold, Norwegian School of Sport Science, Oslo
