Education Agents: In the last couple of years the University has seen a large increase in the number of applications handled and submitted by education agents. Applications received from such agents are not given higher priority or any other advantages compared to applications which are processed and submitted by indivdual applicants themselves.

Quota scholarship scheme: The Quota scheme is open to students from certain developing countries. Only students from UiT partner institutions can apply as Quota student to the University of Tromsø. Bachelor studies: No English Bachelor's degree programmes are taught at the University of Tromsø.
