Grand Meeting 2008 at Sandbjerg

The 2008 Grand Meeting for the Network for Scandinavian Dialect Syntax was organized at Sandbjerg Estate, outside Sønderborg, Denmark, 24-28 August.

43 participants from the network gathered for a three day program at Sandbjerg Estate in August 2008, including a special session with five presentations by the NORMS-funded researchers (postdocs) and a workshop for students and young researchers with altogether seven 30 minutes talks as well as invited lectures by Elisabet Engdahl (Gothenburg), Frans Gregersen (Copenhagen), and Lars Heltoft (Roskilde).

The meeting was organized by Henrik Jørgensen, Karen Thagaard Hagedorn, Sten Vikner, and Øystein A. Vangsnes, and it is the main activity of the NordForsk Network for Scandinavian Dialect Syntax in 2008.
