Basic User Support

To report problems, send a message to support-uit@notur.no.
Questions and problems will be handled as soon as possible. Working hours are usually Monday-Friday 08:00-16:00.
To provide a better service, we need you to help us by reporting problems. The more information you can provide us with, the easier it will be for us to fix the problem. The subject of the message should be descriptive to the problem. In addition you should:
- Notice which machine the problem occurred at.
- Describe what went wrong, how it happened, and what was supposed to be the correct outcome of the action.
- If possible make a suggestion to why the error occured and share your views for a possible fix to the problem.
There might exist problems with the systems that is unknown to us. Therefore it is of vital importance that you report every problem you experience, however minor they may seem at the time.
An on-line support system is also available for submitting, and monitoring the status of requests. Here you can check if the problem has occurred before and if we have found a solution to the problem. Information about the support system, RT (Request Tracker), can be found here.
The first time you report a problem to the above E-mail address, you will receive an E-mail with username and password to get access to RT.
