The University of Tromsø is carrying out a learning environment survey among its students. All participants enter a draw for prize vouchers.
The University of Tromsø annonces that the Board of Direcvtors has decided on a new gender action plan, which aims at raising the percentage of women in the highets academic category from the present 23% to 30% by 2014.

Seminar: Scientists in solidarity
How can the University of Tromsø (UiT) and its staff contribute to making a difference in solidarity work? In order to answer this question, the Rectorate has invited three speakers who will share their knowledge in the field and initiate a round table discussion. This will focus on UiTs current and potential contribution to international solidarity work.

From today it should be possible to register with English as examination language. Please remember to register for exam before September 1st.
Due to technical errors it is not possible to register English as exam language for some English courses. We are working to solve this.

In the contract you receive it states that you have to return a signed copy of your contract and pay your deposit within seven days. This is only valid for Norwegian students.

Admission letters have been sent to applicants to all studies, except Master of Science in Business Creation and Entrepreneurship. Applicants that have not been admitted will be notified shortly.
Due to a significant increase in international master applications the information about admission has been delayed. We hope to inform all applicants within the coming two weeks.
The deadline has been moved forwards to allow proper time for visa applications.
