Transborder Café (detailed programme)
The Pikene på broen arts production group in Kirkenes arranged a Transborder Café for the conference.
Samovarteatret The conference also featured a short performance based on the life of Elisif Wessel, by the Kirkenes Samovarteatret.
Association of Borderland Studies The conference was held in cooperation with the Association for Borderland Studies. Membership was not necessary to participate in the conference, but we recommend joining the association using their membership page.
Financial backing The conference received additional financial backing from the Norwegian Barents Secretariat, the University of Tromsø, the Humanities Faculty at the University of Tromsø, and the Sparebanken1 Nord-Norge Research Fund.

Registration fees
- Registration fee 1: The full registration fee of NOK 4640 / EUR 580 includes hotel with full board for the length of the conference, and the field trip.
- Registration fee 2: NOK 2000 / EUR 250 includes Conference with the field trip and meals.
- Registration fee 3: NOK 500 / EUR 65 includes the Conference.
Payments can be in either Norwegian kroner or in Euros.
Visa costs for field trip If you applied for your visa for Russia via Pasvikturist, they will have paid your visa fees; if you applied via a local embassy/consulate, you can give the conference the receipt, and it will cover at least 300 NOK of the fee.
