    Forskningsinteresser

    Innen klinisk forskning er hovedinteressene innen behandling og oppfølging av lungekreft og testikkelkreft. Bremnes er medlem i styringsgruppen for Norsk lungekreftgruppe (NLCG), svensk-norsk testikkelkreftgruppe (Swenoteca) og Norsk urogenitalkreftgruppe (NUCG). Disse gruppene er drivende innen fase 2-3 intervensjonsstudier og oppfølging av seneffekter hos tidligere behandlede pasienter.

    Innen translasjonsforskning er hovedinteressene innen lungekreft, protastakreft og bløtvevssarkom. Her studeres molekyler og deres reseptorer, immunceller og kreftassosierte fibroblaster for å vurdere hvilken betydning de har for svulstvekst, spredning og levetid for pasienten. Molekylende undersøkes på DNA, RNA, mikroRNA og proteinnivå ved hjelp av forskjellige metoder.

    Forskningsgruppen har et stort nettverk av internasjonale samarbeidspartnere.
