Cell culture
MedFak contains 5 rooms specialised for cell culturing - L9.137A, L9.118A, L9.142, L8.240, L8.227. These rooms contain hoods, nitrogen tanks, incubators, refridgerators and invert microscopes.
One cell-culturing room is specified as iso-laboratory, specialized for virus infections and so on.

Working with radioactivity
One room (L9.132A) specialised for work with radioactivity. This room contains hoods, gel dries, micro-centrifuges, incubators for hybridisation, power-suppliers, refrigerator and freezer.

Developing facilities
One dark room (L8.245A ) contains a developing machine, and facilities for manual development of films.
Centrifugation
Five ultra centrifuges and different rotors are located in rooms L9.222 (2), L8.148 (2), IFA (1) Five refrigerated super speed centrifuges and rotors (GSA, SS-34, HB-4, GS-3 ) are located in room L9.222.
Weighting room for dangerous chemicals
Room L8.242 contains a weight in a hood.
