Child Law research group

The group has, in relation to the number of members, broad expertise in terms of methodological and theoretical approach to the field. The faculty has several students writing master's thesis on children's rights.

The members of the group participate in national and Nordic network. The group has an open approach to what is understood by Child law, and welcomes a diversity of perspectives and methods, as long as the aim is to identify the child's legal status.

In 2011 the research group was granted an application for strengthen the research over a three year period and within a budget of 2.6 million NKR, of which 1.6 million from the Norwegian Research Council.
