Født 1978. Cand. mag. med mellomfag i historie og religionsvitenskap, UiTø 2003. Mastergrad i historie, UiTø 2005. Overgangsstipendiat ved Det samfunnsvitenskapelige fakultet, UiTø, våren 2006. Prosjektsekretær ved Tromsø Museum Universitetsmuseet og Polarmuseet i Tromsø høsten 2006. Nåværende stilling fra 1. januar 2007.
Betydningen av religion generelt, og kirkelige organisasjoner spesielt, for samfunnsutviklingen i middelalderen, især utviklingen av, og forholdet mellom, kirke og stat fram til og med reformasjonen.
Mitt doktorgradsprosjekt "State development, religious meetings and inter-ethnic relations in northern Fennoscandia ca. 1100 - ca. 1500" er en del av forskningsprogrammet "Creating the New North: Manifestations of central power in the North AD 1000-1600".
