Forskningsinteresser
Kompetanse frå utviklingsrelevant forsking og utgreiingsarbeid for ulike internasjonale organisasjonar. I tillegg har eg i periodar arbeidd for internasjonale private organisasjonar og interregionale bistandsorganisajonar. I dei seinare år har forskinga mi vore fokusert på statsbyggjingsprosessar og etnisitet og høvet mellom naturresursforvaltning, sosiale institusjonar og fattigdomsprosessar i sørasia. I tillegg har eg arbeid med implikasjonar for samfunnsvitskapleg forståing av høvet mellom kultur og natur av nyare evolusjonsforsking.
