Associate Professor of Clinical Dentistry (Gerodontology), DDS (Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm), PhD in Odontology (Umeå University), Authorized Dentist

After graduation from Karolinska Institutet in 1972 I have been working most of the time with elderly and sick patients as a hospital dentist. During that time I have been responsible for dental education of different groups of personnel working with diseased and elderly patients.
From 1996 I have been involved and responsible for education of dental students and dental hygienists in oral medicine and gerodontology. During my clinical work I started my PhD studies and in the year 2000 I defended my thesis: "Salivary flow and oral complaints in adults-association with medication and psychological factors."
From the first of March 2006 I'm associated professor in Gerodontology and also responsible for education of the clinical teachers in the dental education.
